Our Story
Where It All Began
Rev. Veronica Christian McNeil was born in Elmina, in the Central region of Ghana.
After completing her education, Rev. Veronica worked for 10 years in Ghana after which the Lord brought her to Canada.
In 1978, Rev Veronica had a Divine encounter with the Lord which left a deep imprint on her life.
From that moment, anywhere she went, the Lord will show her His heart for the people.
In 1980 the Lord brought Rev. Veronica to Canada and immediately revealed His will for the Ghanaian community in Calgary, the nation of Canada and Africa as a whole.
The Lord revealed to Rev. Veronica in the early 80’s that Africa Shall Arise in the Last Days and God shall use Africans to HEAL the world.
In 1991, the doors of Christ Alive International Ministries was opened with the sole mission to: Save Souls, Heal Them, Train Them, and Release Them into Ministries.
Pastor Veronica is married to Rev. Fred McNeil with one daughter and 3 grandchildren. Pastor Veronica is an intercessor for the Kingdom of God and is greatly involved in community transformation in Calgary.
Rev. Fred McNeil was born in Didsbury, Alberta – Canada. He grew up all through his young life in Didsbury.
In 1982, through a very dedicated Christian friend at work, Rev. Fred McNeil came to finally know the Lord Jesus.
With a new spark in his life, Rev. McNeil was to meet his future wife, Rev. Veronica McNeil two years later. In 1984, Rev. Fred McNeil is married to his lovely wife Rev. Veronica McNeil.
With his heart passionately seeking God, Rev. McNeil encouraged his wife to go to Bible School while he supported her. The two would later on tag together to eventually open up Christ Alive International Ministries in 1991.
In 1998, Rev. Fred McNeil was ordained as a Minister of the gospel of Christ.Rev. McNeil passion in the body of Christ is to see people saved, delivered from addictions and restored completely to Christ.
